I think this combo, is all of my favourite things in one… Coffee & Chocolate! Deeeelish!!

Did you know that the time you consume protein, either before your workout or after, is not as vital as we once thought…? The best way to approach it, is to consume quality protein consistently and have it available for your body to use as required! Whether that be pre-workout, during or after.

So you can sip away on this baby at anytime of the day, all though because it is coffee, I would recommend in the morning or very early afternoon. Everyone’s caffeine sensitivity is different. If you are having trouble relaxing or sleeping then its a good indication you should look at your caffeine consumption.

Either way this smoothie is super yummy and great when your running out the door, breakfast & coffee in 1!

Ingredients (*Chose organic where possible)

  • Double espresso
  • 2 tsp Hemp Seeds
  • ¼ cup Coconut Milk
  • ½ Banana
  • 1 tsp Almond butter
  • 1 tsp Coconut oil
  • 1 scoop Vanilla Protein Powder
Optional
  • 1 tsp Brain Octane
  • 1 tsp Maca Powder

Method

Add all ingredients to Nutribullet/Blender, blend for 1 minute. Enjoy your Mocha Protein Hit!!
