Smoooothies are my absolute favorite way to start the day! I have found my body works best with a smoothie for breakfast. They are easily digested after you body has been fasting while you sleep. I just make sure to JAM PACK it full of amazing-ness to keep me feeling full and nourish my body.

Give it a try and see what works best for your body first up.

This one is an a quick and easy go-to. It is jam packed with; Slippery Elm, which is amazing for inflammation and easing digesting. Maca Powder, is great for balancing your hormones and boosting stamina. Collagen, helps give our skin strength and elasticity (bub-eye wrinkles, plus it does the same things for your gut Seals & Heals!). Bee Pollen, is a natural allergy relief which is perfect if you suffer from hay fever and it contains more protein than any animal source!! – say what?!

But you seriously cannot taste any of these! They are just  extra’s that are easy to absorb and boost me up. I love adding extra protein and fats to keep me full and curb all those morning cravings.

You may not have all of these in your pantry, that’s ok. Start by adding a couple to your diet and reap the benefits. See what your body needs!

Ingredients (*choose organic where possible)

  • Handful Spinach/Kale
  • 1 tsp Ghee
  • 1 tsp Cacao Powder
  • 1 tsp Maca Powder
  • 1 tsp Collagen
  • 1 tsp Flaxseed Oil
  • 200ml Coconut Milk (carton)
  • 1/2 Banana
  • 1 tsp Bee Pollen

Method

Add all ingredients to your Nutribullet or Blender.

Blitz for 20 seconds – BOOM, Nourishing Breakfast Smoothie! Even whip it up to curb your 3pm slump and cravings.

You can also add toppings, I love Goji Berries & Chia Seeds or even Bee Pollen. Go crazy with whatever you want!
